I’m a home-based cottage kitchen in Idaho Falls specializing in fully custom, handmade, and chocolate-dipped treats made fresh to order in my Idaho Falls home kitchen. Each piece is crafted with premium chocolate and thoughtful details, tailored to your vision.

Premium Chocolate Matters
I only use Merckens confectionery coatings for all my chocolate-dipped treats.
Unlike almond bark or standard chocolate melts - which can have a waxy texture and artificial taste - Merckens delivers a smooth, creamy mouthful and rich, delicious chocolate flavor that elevates every bite.
This premium choice reflects my commitment to quality, because your special celebrations deserve the very best.
Legal & Policies
By submitting an order request with Nelson’s Sugar Petal Kitchen, you agree to the following:
Lead Time
Standard production time is 4 weeks from order confirmation and deposit. I will communicate your exact pickup/delivery date once the order is confirmed.
Rush Orders
Less than 14 days notice: +20% of total
Less than 7 days notice: +30% of total
Deposit & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and hold your custom order.
Deposits are due within 48 hours of order confirmation.
Final payment is due 7 days before pickup/delivery.
Changes, Cancellations and Rescheduling
Minor design changes can usually be accommodated up to 10 days before pickup (additional fees may apply).
All payments (deposit and final balance) are non-refundable. Upon cancellation or rescheduling, the full amount paid may be applied as credit toward a future order of equal or greater value. Credit is valid for 6 months from the original confirmation date.
Rush fees already charged are non-refundable.
Allergens
All treats are made in my home kitchen. While I practice good hygiene, my kitchen is not nut-free, gluten-free, or allergen-free. Common allergens (milk, soy, wheat, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts) may be present.
Freshness & Storage
Treats are best enjoyed within 2–3 days of pickup.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Chocolate items may develop bloom (white streaks) if refrigerated.
Liability
All treats are handmade and perishable. I am not responsible for treats once they have been picked up or delivered.
Home Kitchen Disclaimer
All treats are produced in a private residence that is not subject to governmental licensing or inspection.
